Dr. William Grosso has been in practice serving Rockland County since 1981. He is a graduate of the first Chiropractic College, Palmer College. He graduated Magnum Cum Laude, was president of his class, and served on the college faculty for three years. He was elected into Who’s Who of Chiropractic and Who’s Who in Colleges and Universities.

He received his under graduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Biology and Chemistry. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Grosso was a high school science teacher, coach, and certified athletic trainer.


An author, Dr.Grosso has written and published a book called “The Guide to a Pain Free Back,” he has written a weekly newspaper article called “Health and Athletics” that appeared for over ten years, and he has articles that have appeared in several papers and publications.

Dr. Grosso developed “The Back School Program,” in which he traveled across the country teaching hundreds of doctors how to help their patients with back pain.

He is the inventor of the patented “Back Relief Belt,” and has sold over 600,000 of them world wide. The belt is a portable, inflatable, self adjusting lumbar cushion that alleviates the pain and pressure from sitting.

Dr. Grosso specializes in the treatment of lower back pain and sports injuries. The key to Dr. Grosso’s practice is that he actually “listens” to his patients and their health complaints and concerns. He will always integrate any testing or other health practitioners to help with your care if needed. Well respected by the local medical community, he works and inter-refers with most family doctors and orthopedists.


He was the only Chiropractor to be selected to be on the board of an HMO called MDNY, in Rockland.

Dr. Grosso was the first Chiropractor to scrub up and observe spinal surgery in Nyack Hospital, and he was instrumental getting athletic trainers into the local school systems in the county.

He has appeared on several local TV and radio shows discussing sports injuries, and donates his time to the community participating with local law enforcement agencies, school functions, public speaking, and veterans groups.
